Flying seabirds with sails are depicting, and can be felt refreshing wind. It shows well-balanced openwork, and gold rim add the accent to the design. Shoami School was established in Kyoto around the end of Muromachi period, and they spread and prospered throughout the country. 18c. Hozon certificate paper.

Elaborate Tsuba by kyo-Shoami School which was described sailing ships traveling in the waves above the clouds overhead illuminated by the light.
Kyoto is the birthplace of the Shoami school which prospered greatly throughout the country from the end of Muromachi. It is showing fine gold inlay technique and craftsmanship well. 18c. With a Tokubetsu Kicho certificate paper.
