翼を広げ大空を帆翔(はんしょう)する海鳥に、船の帆を配した涼しげな意匠。
バランス良い透かし彫りに、金覆輪が全体を引き締めている。
正阿弥派は室町末期に京で興り、全国各地で大いに栄えた一派。
江戸時代中期。保存鑑定書付。

Flying seabirds with sails are depicting, and can be felt refreshing wind. It shows well-balanced openwork, and gold rim add the accent to the design. Shoami School was established in Kyoto around the end of Muromachi period, and they spread and prospered throughout the country. 18c. Hozon certificate paper.

光明に照らされた雲の下、荒波に負けず海面を進む帆船を透かし彫りした京正阿弥派の技巧品。全国で大いに栄えた正阿弥派発祥の地である京の洗練された構図に、華やかな金象嵌が映える透かし鐔。江戸時代中期。特別貴重認定書付。

Elaborate Tsuba by kyo-Shoami School which was described sailing ships traveling in the waves above the clouds overhead illuminated by the light.
Kyoto is the birthplace of the Shoami school which prospered greatly throughout the country from the end of Muromachi. It is showing fine gold inlay technique and craftsmanship well. 18c. With a Tokubetsu Kicho certificate paper.
