| 加賀国を代表する藤島派は、鎌倉末期から南北朝期に山城より移り、室町時代に大いに繁栄し幕末まで脈々と続いた。室町時代後期(16c.)の本作は美しい乱れ刃が映える華やかな優品。19世紀の糸巻太刀拵が付属する。 刃を下にして佩く太刀は室町中期頃まで戦場で、皇族では式典など行事に用いられた。 FUJISHIMA who is a well-known school of Kaga (Ishikawa Pref.), came from Yamashiro province (Kyoto) and prospered to the end of Edo period from Muromachi continually. This Katana which was made in Muromachi period (16c.) is showing beautiful tempering line. And the attached Tachi mounting in 19c is also an fine work. |

| 石目地塗り鉄鞘に佩環を一つ取付けた九八式陸軍軍刀拵 に、無銘ながら小乱れ刃文が楽しめる昭和初期頃の白鞘入刀身が附く。付属する尉官用刀緒を含め保存状態は良く、コレクションにお勧めの一振り。 This is a well-preserved type 98 army shin-gunto mounting with one ring, and fine condition unsigned blade with shirasaya in the early Showa era. It is good example as a military officer collection. |

| 鍛え肌が華麗に整った美濃金高の豊後守受領作。表裏で互の目交じる直刃と、穏やかな湾れ刃が楽しめる。上品な赤銅金具に呂色塗鞘の正装用拵が附く。 Beautiful forging sword by KANETAKA in Mino, who was given the title “Bungo-no-kami” from the Court. It is enjoyable to see the active tempering line, and comes with traditional style mounting consist of Shakudo fittings and black lacquered scabbard. |

| 大和鍛冶が備後国三原に移住し栄えた三原派は、鎌倉末期から室町時代に渡り繁栄。南北朝期までの作を「古三原」と呼び大和物の影響が多く見られ、本作同様に直刃を焼いた古雅な作風を示した。黒石目塗鞘に赤銅磨地鐔を付けた堅実な外装が附く。 Ko-Mihara School moved from Yamato (Nara Pref.) to Mihara of Bingo (Hiroshima Pref.) and was active there in Nanbokucho period, 14c. Although this Katana is so old more than 600 years old, it shows good figure with classic straight tempering line of Yamato style. It comes with a simple beauty finishing scabbard mounting with Shakudo (metal alloy of gold and copper etc.) Tsuba. |

| 有名な作刀産地「備前長船」で新々刀期に活躍した横山一門の刀工「横山祐忠」に よる、備前伝を代表する華やかな丁子刃映える紀入りの作。茶漆塗石目地鞘の腰を 印籠刻み、革柄巻とし、変わり形鐔と波千鳥図金具でまとめた洒落た外装が附く。 Yokoyama Suketada is from well-known Yokoyama School at Osafune in Bizen (Okayama Pref.) where is the most prosperous place for making swords. This blade is showing beautiful Choji tempering line of Bizen style, and making date is engraved with his signature on the tang. This elaborate finishing scabbard mounting is consist of an unique shaped Tsuba, fittings of plovers with wave design etc. |
